Some projects simply stand out.
Designing and manufacturing the exhibition stand for Dunlop Belting Products at Mining Indaba 2026 was certainly one of them. Having worked closely with Dunlop Belting Products over the past year, the brief was intentionally open. They required a stand that would showcase their conveyor technologies and advanced sensory systems while positioning them as the forward-thinking, world-class brand they are.The response from MDM Creations and Dalco Engineering was bold and unconventional. A 6 x 4 metre stand fabricated entirely from steel — sleek, ultra-modern, and impossible to miss in a crowded exhibition hall. What truly sets it apart is that the structure is modular and fully reusable, transforming the initial investment into a long-term asset rather than a once-off build.
Every detail was carefully considered:

- A design that reflects innovation and technical leadership
- A strong architectural presence
- Replaceable branding for future adaptability
- A structure engineered for durability, repeat use, and longevity
- Reinforced support columns engineered to carry the 6 x 4 metre roof structure
- All electrical wiring concealed within tubing — eliminating exposed cabling while maintaining a clean aesthetic
- A moving conveyor system that remained fully visible for demonstration, yet safely enclosed within a Perspex cover
- Conveyor motors positioned safely out of reach
- Clearly visible and accessible emergency stop switches
- 85-inch monitors securely integrated into structural panels for both support and high-impact visual display
- 40-inch monitors positioned near the conveyor to demonstrate sensor functionality
- Conveyor belt samples neatly housed within custom drawers for easy showcasing
